Rant of the day!!

Hi all.

Ok, so this morning, I'm browsing through news24, catching up with home.
The first thing that catches my eye:

"FLORIA PASTOR CALLS OFF BURNING OF THE QU'RAN"

What the hell!!!!!
Why would you want to burn a book in the first place?

I understand that there are people who are upset over the proposed Mosque near ground zero,
but for heavens sake, its pathetic, pointless, and childish to resort to an act as immature as this.
All its going to do is re-in force Muslims stereotypes of the "Big, Bad West".
I am pretty certain that God, in whatever form or way you believe in him, would never condone this
idiotic idea.
All this idiot is going to achieve, is to create more animosity, more resentment,
and therefore more violence.

It never ceases to amaze me that there are all these people running around the world, spewing their own form
of religious rhetoric and hate speech and passing comments that whatever other religion or group, who happen to be in their sights at that moment, are evil, when they themselves do and say things just as barbaric, like burning books.
I bet, this Pastor, if he remembers his history, or bothered to look at the persecution of others in the past, would remember the burning of books by the Nazi's during world war two. That little footnote in our past has gone done as one of the greatest crimes against humanity.

Violence begets violence.
How on earth are we ever going to stop this cycle of violence destroying our world, when idiots
suggest insane ideas like this?

Ok, so this morning I read on news24. Now a South African Person has said he wants to burn a pile of Bibles in Johannesburg in protest against the Idiotic American pastor. He wants to make September the 11th "Bible Burning day" in South Africa. Here is another example of a brainless,moronic twit, if ever I saw one.
Thank heavens there are some levelheaded people at home and they are seeking a court injunction to stop him.
What is it with these maniacs?
Do they like to see our world burn????
